Employment

The Cedartown Police Department hires interested individuals who are 21 years of age and older, that have a High School Diploma or a GED.  Applicants must go through an interview process, and then if they are considered for employment, they will go through the process of a polygraph, a psychological exam, a physical, and a drug screen.  Upon successful completion, the department will run a background check, and all applicants must be free of any felony convictions.
